How we protect your data
Financial data requires clear, substantive security commitments — not marketing language. Here is what Yield Clarity does to protect your information.
Encrypted in transit
All connections use TLS encryption.
Isolated accounts
Each user's data is logically isolated. No cross-account access.
No data selling
Your financial data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing.
Read-only integrations
Broker connections request only read access to positions and balances.
Full data export
Export all your data at any time in standard formats.
Account deletion
Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
Hosting and infrastructure
Yield Clarity is hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure with managed databases, automated backups and monitoring. Infrastructure access is restricted to authorised personnel.
Encryption in transit
All connections between your browser and Yield Clarity use TLS encryption. API communications between internal services are also encrypted.
Encryption at rest
Data stored in the database is encrypted at rest. Backups are encrypted using the same standard.
Authentication
User accounts are protected by bcrypt-hashed passwords. Sessions use signed JWT tokens with expiry controls.
User data isolation
Each user's data is logically isolated at the application layer. Database queries are scoped to the authenticated user. There is no cross-account data access.
Broker integrations
Broker connections request only read-only access to positions and balances. Yield Clarity cannot place trades, move money or modify your brokerage account. Broker credentials are encrypted and stored separately from user data.
Bank statement uploads
Uploaded bank statements are processed to extract transaction data. Extracted data is stored with the same encryption and isolation as other user data.
Third-party services
Market data is provided by third-party data providers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. No financial data is shared with these providers beyond what is necessary for their function.
Data export
You can export all your data at any time in standard formats from the Settings page.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings. Deletion is irreversible and removes all holdings, forecasts, scenarios and personal information.
No data selling
Your financial data is never sold, shared with advertisers, used for marketing purposes or provided to any third party for commercial purposes.
Vulnerability reporting
If you discover a security issue, please report it to security@yieldclarity.com. We take all reports seriously and will respond promptly.
